Gulvel Vati
Gulvel Vati (tablet) is prepared from dried, tested, cleansed stems of
Tinospora cordifolia ( wild) Miers. The herb is highly praised for its multifarious
activities in all ancient scriptures of Ayurved.
Properties : The plant possesses bitter, pungent and astringent tastes,
sweet post-digestive effect and has a hot potency. It has light and dry attributes. It
alleviates all the three doshas viz. Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Gulvel i.e. Guduchi - Tinospora cordifolia is one of the best
rejuvenative
(rasayana) herbs. It is well known for its anti-inflammatory1,2, antacid, antipyretic3,
tonic4 and neuroendocrine immune modulating effect5. Being rasayana, the rejuvenative
herb, it promotes the qualitative nourishment of all tissues (seven dhatus) in the body.
Indications :
- Gout
- Arthropathies.
- Chronic inflammation of respiratory and urinary systems.
- General weakness.
- Chronic skin disorders.
- Chronic low grade fever.
Dose : 2 Tablets twice a day, after food.

Bhumyamalaki Vati
Bhumyamalaki Vati (Tablet) is prepared from the
whole plant - phyllanthus niruri
Linn. The great sage Charaka has mentioned this plant.
Properties : The plant possesses bitter, astringent and sweet tastes,
sweet post- digestive effect and has a cold potency. It has light and dry attributes hence
it pacifies Kapha and Pitta doshas.
It acts as an appetiser, digestant, mild laxative and modern research reveals that
Phyllanthus niruri is useful in Viral hepatitis B1,2.
It has a specific action on Pitta dosha, hence is very useful in blood
disorder-Raktapitta-Bleeding diathesis. It also alleviates toxins and is beneficial as a
general tonic as well. It also possesses mild diuretic property3.
Indications:
- Viral hepatitis B.
- Chronic alcoholic liver disorders.
- Liver cirrhosis - early stages.
- Generalised oedema.
- Loss of appetite.
- Enlarge of liver and spleen.
- As a General and Liver tonic.
Dose : 2 tablets twice a day, after food.

Pittari
Amrut
As a whole the comprehensive formulation ?Pittari Amrut? effectively controls
the excessive secretion of gastric glands and combats hyperacidity. Specially Shatavari
and Yashtimadhu promote the healing of peptic ulcers. Deglycyrrhiznised liquorice is used
in the peptic ulcer5.

Kavachamrut
Kavachamrut is prepared from seed of an herb Mucuna pruriens bak .
Sushruta and Bhavmisra have mentioned the use of seed as promoters of virility .
Yogaratnakar has
a reference to the its use in a formulation for tremors.
Properties :
The plant possesses sweet and bitter tastes sweet post digestive
effect and cold potency. It has heavy and oily attributes it alleviates
aii the three doshas viz. Vata pitta and kapha it is rasayana vajikarana, balya meaning rejuvenative, aphrodisiac and a

Amrut Brahmi Is Prepared from cleaned, dried Wholeplant - Bacopa monnieri
it is one of the best rasayanas for nervine tissue (medhya)
Properties:
